Updating addons wow
The way I do it so I don't lose any of my personal addons not included in Real. Aurora Bug - go here https://github.com/Haleth/Aurora donwload zip, extract folder then just copy the files from the folder into your existing Aurora folder. Chatter bug - go here download the latest alpha version install like a normal addon. Any other bugs I didn't list, I haven't encountered.
I hope this gets fixed soon, it's by far and away the best UI I've used. All inventory items are green squares, cast bars on enemy name plates are enormous, scrolling combat text doesn't even work, among other minor issues. I just read the comments on arkinventory's addon page.
They mentioned that someone posted a comment on #7 of the google code....
Basically this is the fix: 1) Open up with notepad or your text editor 2) replace file="" with file="Interface\Buttons\UI-Passive Highlight" 3) save I know everyone is going to the other forum, but in the event this is read... For whatever reason though, it appears the rules written into the Real UI distribution of Arkinventory are not being applied.
The lines without this prefix specify the files that should be loaded by the client when this addon is run: in this case, the file in the addon's folder should be loaded before in the same folder.
There are a number of "official" (either used by the client or explicitly allowed access to via Get Add On Metadata) tags.
Installing addons is very easy: the first time you start lcurse, click "Update Catalog" - this gets a list of all the available addons from Deadly Boss Mods - Dungeon/Raid encounter timers and alerts.nib Real UI_Boss Skins - A skin for DBM and Big Wigs timer bars.* CRZ sharding – one of the new Legion changes allows zones to attach and break up with other realms in order to maintain a stable population size.Unfortunately, this now sometimes occurs in the AH zones, and when it happens it can cause unintended side effects (read: errors, missing data, or silent failures) in the AH.
